For "Grandma Geiger"

So today, I got my dress from David's Bridal (for my sister-in-laws wedding) and while I was making sure that they had fixed their mistakes, the girls went to work "recycling" the box.  When I came out into the living room, this is what I found :)

She was very worried that she didn't know how to spell your last name Mom, but I assured her you would know what she meant ;)  LOL  Now I'm still not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing that she is shoving her sister in a box and trying to ship her off.  Is she trying to do a nice thing for you, or is she trying to get rid of her sister?  I'm just going to pretend it has to be the first one! :)

Then she says, "Ok Mom, take a picture of me pushing her to the mailbox!"

I'm not sure how far she would have gotten, but Madalyn popped out eventually!

Later on, they continued to recycle it into a multi family house for their animals!

I love my girls and I love their imaginations! :)

Farm Show

I kind of have a feeling this classifies us as true "rednecks"!  But I don't care!  We had fun!
Every year we head to Syracuse and go to the farm show.  It is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. A bunch of companies bring their farm equipment and put it on display in one place.
They let the kids climb on the equipment and get their pictures taken.

Although I didn't get a picture of it, the kids favorite thing this year was the robotic milking machines.  For the farmers out there reading this, they had the Delaval and Lely Robotic milkers there.  I think the girls liked watching the Delaval one better because it was "silly" is all they kept saying!  LOL

We even got to bring the furry members of the family.  They had a blast walking around and were well behaved of course :)

After it closed we headed over to Destiny USA to eat.  Although I wouldn't recommend where we ate, the kids had a blast!

I'm not even sure how Ashton makes his face do this!
Thanks Jen for the pictures :)

I went to bed the other night and when I entered the bedroom and turned the light on, the old man was crashed on my bed!  I "almost" didn't have the heart to make him move over.  LOL

As much as the girls love their Douglas Company animals that they have had since they were babies, the dogs seem to love them too.  If the stuffies make it out to the living room, it is almost guaranteed that the dogs are going to be found laying and cuddling up with them.
Case found Marissa's recently....

And Chloe found both Madalyn's puppies....funny thing was, this was the same morning at the same time!  Apparently they collaborated planned efforts to take over the stuffies :)

Fun with friends

Katie and Zoe came over on Tuesday and the girls very much enjoyed the company.  What better thing to do, than wrap up Zoe and drag her around :)  LOL

And she loved every second of it!

Love those eyes <3

This picture made me laugh :)

I have the best husband ;)

Ever since I was little, I remember going to Grandma and Grandpa's house and Grandpa having a bag of York Peppermint Patties stashed for me somewhere.  As I got older, although I can't remember why or when exactly I started doing it, I began putting them in the freezer before I would eat them.  Now I stick the whole bag in the freezer before even opening it.  Now I'm not a huge fan of chocolate, as Madalyn would say, but I can definitely pack these away.  ;)
So the other night, Doug brought me home a bag and stuck them in the freezer for me.  Everyone thinks I'm crazy but really it is totally the little things that count the most!  I love him so much!  I wouldn't trade him for the world!
Although I have to say I'm not to happy that I'm having a hard time sticking to my exercise routine and then balancing it with eating these...although the bag does say 70% less fat!  LOL
Then tonight while I was searching for pictures to add to this post, I realized that they make half pound patties and king size bars!  OOOOO BOY!!!!!

Play Day!

We took a good share of the day on Saturday and put our snow stuff on and went outside to enjoy the beautiful day!  Since we have received a good bit of snow and have some decent sized drifts, we decided to build some snow forts/ igloos (as the girls call them)!  As you can see they were a HUGE help in the beginning ;)

Our handsome old man even came out.  It doesn't happen often because he doesn't tolerate the cold well, but it was so nice he stayed out the whole time with us!

Getting a decent start on it

Madalyn wanted me to take a picture of Chloe off the ground, jumping to get the snow.  It took me a few tries!  I love Madalyn's facial expressions!

Getting closer....

There we go!

The side yard looked so peaceful

Marissa "TRYING" to dig a tunnel of her own.

Digging...its what Cairn's do best!

I really think she tries to see how much snow she can get stuck to her face!

Such a pretty girl :)

Madalyn made a "TV" for their house

Marissa and I made our own.  We didn't get any pictures of the building portion of it, but here are finished pictures!

I really love these next couple pictures of Case!

Except he looks really old here...

This inside of Marissa's and mine...
