Daddy's girl

Pretty much since day one, Marissa has been 100% Daddy's girl.  He used to come home around 2 or 3 am from driving milk truck and climb in bed.  He would put his arms around me and she would move over so that she was resting against his hands.  It was cute, but kind of annoying too because she would wriggle around and be awake for a while after that which made it tough for me to get back to sleep :)  She smiled at Daddy first, said his name first, and when she was upset, it took some lovin' from Daddy to settle her down.  Today, she is still Daddy's girl and I'm fairly certain it doesn't matter how big she gets, she is still going to find a way to fit on his lap :)
(And yes, she is really passed out.  She played really hard during her soccer game!)

My newest creation :)

I'm going to be an Aunt again to an adorable niece :)  Arya Morgan should be here sometime in February.  Since I have become more creative than when my nephew was born, I decided to make Cristale a diaper bag this time around with some help from her.
This is what I came up with ~

What do you think?

Madalyn's Photos

And here are Madalyn's photos.  She enjoyed this project, but after taking a dozen or so photos she was done and just wanted to play :)  Which for her age, I expected :)  Her pictures turned out great!

Madalyn tried so hard to get a close up of this one leaf she found...

Finally she put it on the table and got a half way decent one!

Madalyn's attempt at an "action photo"  So cute!  She told Taylor to pretend she was running :)

A better action shot!

Great shot of Lucas!

Marissa's Photos

Here are Marissa's pictures that she took for her 4H project.  She did a really good job.  Especially seeing as our camera is as old as she is and is lacking some of the omph that it used to have :)
Although I wanted to, I didn't edit any of her photos.  I'm not sure they are supposed to so I figured we would just leave them for now :)

Josiah wanted to jump off the bridge so bad.  He thought was big enough to stand on the bridge and lean over without me holding onto some part of him.

They had to get a silly face as well so this one kinda counts as a silly and an action :)

Learning how to center pictures...

Josiah was trying to run off...

Almost...

There we go!

Action shot of Taylor and Madalyn jumping.

Working on getting a close up...

It just didn't want to focus on what she wanted it to.

They wanted better jumping pictures so they decided to jump off the picnic table ends.
