What am I going to do with this kid?!

She has perfected sleepwalking these last few weeks.  She has gotten up to use the bathroom in strange locations, she has come out to the living room and fallen on the coach like in the above picture and continued to sleep, and she came to my bedside just to laugh hysterically with her eyes open staring at me.  I'm not sure what is going on, but at this rate I'm going to have to tie her down!

The girls' new favorite thing....

A good friend of ours had 8 beautiful puppies born 5 weeks ago.  They are sooo cute and the girls are now wanting to move in :)

Meeting Daniel :)

It took a little longer than I would have liked, but we finally made it out to meet my newest nephew....Daniel Joseph!  He is so cute!  He reminds me a lot of Jonathan when he was a baby.  I'm so proud of Jonathan and Liz...they are great parents and you can just see the pride and love in them when they hold him.  I don't have any pictures of Liz and Daniel because he was in a Daddy mood by the time I pulled my camera out.  Of course I couldn't pick so enjoy the millions of cute baby pictures!

I love these next few!

He makes the funniest faces!

Too cute!

Marissa got all practiced up with Arya, so she tried her hand at Daniel ;)

And he is out :)
I love you all and can't wait to see you again soon!

1st Day of School

Even though my kiddos didn't get on a bus this year, we still took first day of school pictures!

Madalyn is in 1st Grade this year!  She is learning to read and write and is doing amazing!  Her favorite subject is Animal Science.

Marissa is in 3rd Grade this year!  She is learning to write cursive this year along with how to multiply.  She has to have the best handwriting skills of any kid I know ( I might be biased ).  Her favorite subject is English.

I'm so proud of both of them and can't wait to watch them learn and grow throughout this year!

Homeschooling fun ;)

I'm playing catch up on some pictures....I've been horrible at blogging lately!  Better late than never though right???
So here we go!
We took an afternoon before school started to hand out with some other kiddos.
As usual, the girls had a blast!  Marissa has gotten really good at pumping herself on the swings...

Madalyn loved this thing but she had a little problem with it....

But Owen came to the rescue :)

A REALLY late birthday :)

My friend Katie is always so sweet to my kids and treats them as her own nieces.  They call her "Aunt Katie" and everything!  Unfortunately around the time Madalyn's birthday came around, she had to go through a couple surgeries, her daughter was having some difficulties, and all in all, a birthday celebration just wasn't capable of happening!  So we just put it off till last week.

Madalyn didn't mind one bit!

Zoe made her the card and was so proud of it!  She was so sweet!!!

And of course birthday celebrations are VERY tiring!!!
Right after I snapped this picture she dumped Cali on the floor LOL

The Great New York State Fair!!!

We continued our yearly family tradition and went to the state fair with my parents.  As soon as we got in the gates, we found Geico and had to take a picture for my nephew Casen :)

And the wind man :)

We hit the midway while the day was young...hoping to beat the heat and the crowds!
Marissa decided she wanted to go on this ride...They made her ride with strangers so she was a little scared but overall she said she liked it!

Madalyn didn't want her pictures taken doing rides for some reason....but I got Marissa riding my favorite ride....not really :)

Marissa was seriously in a posing mood ;)

Lunch time!  We never buy chips so when we go to the fair or something like that, I always get special stuff to make it more special...The girls picked cheesies this time...

A real, live, bald eagle!  He was so pretty!

The infamous sand sculpture!

We sat and watched the seal show.  The girls loved it!  I think its the same show every year but they don't care :)

Hitting a couple buildings was the plan next, to hide from the heat!

Marissa used a loom...the guy was so patient in teaching her

This is what she made...just the last inch maybe but pretty impressive!

And Dad helped a guy make a wooden something.  LOL

They got their picture taken at national grid...

We had a lot of fun!  Of course time with family makes any place more fun :)
