An attempt at Christmas Tree ornaments...

So Monday I got up and had the terrific idea of making Cinnamon Ornaments with the kids. They LOVED it!

Unfortunately this is about as far as we got...once it was mixed and we were starting to roll it out, I realized we had a chimney fire and we all had to leave. It dried out in its ball form. I promised the girls we would attempt this again! LOL The pictures were still cute though and I thought I would share!

The steps to making a snwman!

I am finally getting around to those pictures...I'm bad I know! I have been busy...(can I use that as an excuse again even though I used it last time?) The girls can't wait for it to snow again, because their snowman fell apart. ;( Anyhow here ya go!
Everyone hard at work
Chloe officially could not see. I'm not sure what she was trying to accomplish but she kept rubbing her face in the snow and rolling all over and ended up like that!
Madalyn is proud of her work!
Down she goes...
We had to make paths for them
I think Marissa is trying to bury my leg
Its the first snowman Marissa has seen in real life so she was pretty ecstatic when all three pieces were together.
Putting on his accessories

Marissa adds the final touch...the nose!
What a ham!
I'm not sure where Madalyn ran away to, but of course this is me, Marissa and Aunt Laurie
We forgot the arms
Marissa trying to get that one arm to stay
Madalyn and Frosty
Both girls and Frosty
Mom's handiwork through the living room window
Tubing time!
I'm so glad Marissa can climb back up by herself!
Watch out below!
Here comes Marissa!

Hope you enjoyed and they were worth the wait!

The girls built their very first snowman today and had a blast doing it! I gave you a little preview...more pictures to follow!

Fun at Aubrey's House

We got invited over to my friend Aubrey's house to make some Christmas goodies with the kids. She was having her next door neighbor over who also stays home with her kids also. We had a blast! Good thing we are all kind of go with the flow because we had 10 kids, yes I just said 10, a ton of chocolate, sprinkles, candy, and a mess! LOL Here are some pictures...

Ornaments

Last week we went to Utica to pick up my glasses and finished up some last minute little things for Christmas. Doug's mom thought it would be fun to get the kids ornaments that they could make for the tree. We went to Michaels and found these. I thought they were really cute and the kids were all pumped about making them and hanging them. However...Doug and I ended up putting them together while the kids watch as they were near impossible to do with the kids. Everything needed to be hot glued and most of the pieces were really little so the kids were burning their fingers. They still turned out cute and the kids loved them. Oh well...here are some pictures from that night!

Christmas Pictures...

Every year we take pictures for our Christmas cards. This year Doug and I opted out of being in the picture. The kids are so much cuter ;) I know alot of you if not all of you got cards, but I thought I would share them on here anyhow so you can see the larger picture.

Tis the season...

Finally we got around to taking pictures of the house being all festive. I still need to get pictures of the outside of the house at night. Its so cold though! LOL

We always hang up our Christmas cards on this door. So far we have 3!

Today was pretty much an all day family day. Started out this morning going to the heifer barn together as a family. Then we had church, dinner and then a second service. When we got home, Doug decided we should go for a walk/hike with the kids and dogs. It was alot of fun! We finished off our walk with heading up to the barn to feed the heifers again. When we got home, we made some Christmas cookies together.

I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!
