Last weekend we woke up, got ready, and headed out for a bike ride. The fields were still pretty wet, and it rained on us, but it was awesome to get out. The clean up afterwards...not so much...The girls' and Doug's bike must have a lot more places for stuff to get caught because I'm not even sure how they could break or shift their bikes with all the mud and junk in there! It was pretty crazy. Mine was filthy too, but not near what theirs was. I should have taken pictures of before and after :)
Youth group was in the afternoon. We dropped the girls off and headed down to church. We kind of had a work/ fun day planned. We were asked to rake the rocks that the plow over the winter had deposited on the side of the driveway and put them back where they belonged. It was also our turn this week to clean. We got all our work done in a couple hours, ate some lunch, had our devotional, and then set up our activity for the day. Toilet paper dodgeball! It was a lot of fun and the rolls lasted a lot longer than we thought they were going to. It was another successful youth group meeting.
We possibly have another youth meeting with a nearby church next week, but we are waiting to hear back from teens to see if that is going to happen. I'm definitely thankful for the teens in our church, the work that they do, and the ability to be used of God with them. :)
