:)

Many people have stepped foot into our playroom and have commented about how many stuffed animals my girls have.  Here's the thing though...They actually play with them all!

They have had this group out for a while now and have been doing school with them, eating dinner together, playing games, etc.  I love listening to them play out the events of their own lives.  (Most of the time anyhow!)   I'm very thankful for two girls who are truly each other's best friends and who actually enjoy playing and spending time with each other!

So much for pictures....

Sorry guys, but you are going to have to wait until Monday for that post!  LOL
It's been a crazy morning!
We have some electricity problems and unfortunately I can't resolve them just yet.  Hopefully it will be an easy fix with a new breaker...I'm praying that way anyhow!
For today's post I just wanted to say how thankful I am for Scentsy.
I don't do a ton of parties, but I love the opportunities it gives me to get to know new people.  Last night I had a party for a fellow believer and I got to just sit and fellowship with 6 other believers!  It was such a blessing!  It was probably my longest party, but I left feeling so full.   I'm just very grateful for that.  We had a lot of laughs, some serious conversations, but the evening ended in prayer and it was just such a great feeling.  So today, regardless as to how my morning started off, I'm thankful for the opportunities that Scentsy has opened up for me!

Busy day...

Today is a crazy day for us!
We started out the morning heading to a field trip this morning.  We took the Leah Homeschool group to the Utica Children's Museum.  I'll have more of a post on that tomorrow.
This afternoon I'm sorting a Scentsy party for delivery and then this evening I have another home Scentsy party!
The girls are headed to Grandma (Benedict's) to spend some time with her while I go to the party.
I'm just going to take a second here and thank Doug's parents for all they do for us.  We try not to rely on them too much, but they are always there if we need anything.  Mom especially will watch the kids for me in a pinch, she is there when something happens and I call her early in the morning because one of the kids is sick.  I'm very grateful for their willingness.
So thank you from the bottom of our hearts Mom and Dad!  You both mean a lot to me!!!

So thankful

Sometimes its easy to forget all that was and is sacrificed for us as we go about our every day routine.  We get caught up in all that we have and forget all that was given up so that we are able to have stuff.

We all know someone that has served or is currently serving.  That job isn't for everyone, but I'm thankful for the men and women who give up to serve our country.

I'm especially thankful to my little brother for everything he did.  I know it wasn't easy and I don't the half of it, but I know it was a sacrifice and I'm grateful that he made that decision.  Thank you Caleb!  I'm also thankful for his wife.  Cristale, you gave up a lot as well and I know that period of time was hard on you, yet you stood by Caleb as he served.

Take some time today to thank a Veteran!

Happy Birthday!

I'm super sad that I'm not able to be with this handsome man on his birthday!  He is gone for the week, so we will have to celebrate on Friday.  I can't believe that we have been together for 12 years of birthdays!  Crazy...

I'm so thankful to be blessed with Doug.  He is an amazing father, husband, man of God, employee...He doesn't ever see it and thinks he falls short a lot, but I see it!  I'm grateful that God allowed me to be his wife and has blessed us with two girls so that I can get to experience watching him be a father!

Happy Birthday Hunny!  I can't wait to see you Friday and hope you have an amazing day today!  Tell Todd to take you some place nice for dinner for me ;)   LOL

Little man...

Of course a good share of our time was spent with this little man!

He was so much fun to be around...He handled this trip like a champ!
I've never met a baby that loved his football games so much!

"Not right now Aunt Sarah!"

We had to dress him up to get a picture!  So stinkin' cute!

Too many pictures!  I'm closing my eyes now!

I love this picture!

Big stuff

HAHA

It was nice knowing that Christmas is right around the corner so we won't have to wait too long until we see them again!  Even still, I can't imagine how much he is going to grow and mature in 2 months!
Thanks for a great visit everyone!  Love you all!

Candy Hunt

We never take the kids out trick or treating....its just not our thing.  I usually get the girls a bag of candy and we call that a win!  This year Mom asked if she could hide candy in the basement.  I loved that idea, and so did the girls!

The loot....I think we had everything except one pack and there was a mad dash for the basement.  Doug said whoever finds it can eat it....guess who found it....Daddy ;)

Yummy Snacks!

When you go to Grandma's house, I think there is an unwritten rule that all the yummy snacks must be present.  The weekend started out with cut outs that needed to be frosted and decorated.

Carmel Apples were part of the plan as well.

Then Chelsea made her amazing cheesecake with extra graham cracker crust!

I certainly didn't need to eat all the junk that I ate, but it was yummy!

Game time

I'm really blessed with the fact that my family and Doug's family love to play games!  I'm not sure who pulled this game out of the basement, but I hadn't played Guess Who is forever!  Chelsea and I decided to battle it out after the girls had played their rounds with Aunt Chelsea.

1 win for me ;)

I'm not sure what I'm getting scolded for!  LOL

Chelsea thought she had this one won, but see all mine still standing...yea I randomly guessed her person...needless to say she was not impressed!  HAHA

On to Mouse Trap!

The girls fell in love with this game!  A winner for sure!

We got two games of Hand and Foot in as well...A favorite of ours for sure!  Seth thought it was pretty fun as well!
