Marissa's Birthday!

Marissa is 6!  Someone pinch me now!  I just can't believe it.  She is growing up to be such a little lady.  This year we started in on a family tradition of mine and we had a hot chocolate party!  The girls LOVED it!  We of course had to have guests so we invited Grandma and Grandpa Benedict and Aunt Laurie down to enjoy to.

Then of course it was presents time!
Whoever invented Calico Critters was a very smart person!  Such a  hit!

Later we had friends over for ice cream and the girls wanted to share their "tea" party experience with their friends!  So they tried to re-create it.  They did a good job and it was so cute!

Finally!!!

I did it!  These are pictures from when my parents were here for the girls birthdays.  Mom made both these cakes for the girls and although I'm pretty sure half of them went in the trash because we don't eat that much sweet junk food, the girls LOVED them!  They got to decorate them themselves and they just had a blast!  They also each got to pick out their own cake that they wanted Grandma to make for them.  She did such a good job on them ;)

Present time!  Mom and Dad got the kids "Hermie" movies by Max Lucado and they were a big hit!

They also got Calico Critters galore this year!
It's been a great time waster and the kids love it!

Scentsy...

Have you ever heard of Scentsy?  I hadn't until about two weeks ago.  It's a company that manufacturers flameless candles.  I fell in love!  Their products are awesome!  In light of the fact that we are going to be unemployed in the near future, unless something drastic changes, I decided to sign up with the company as a independent consultant to help out with our bills.  I LOVE candles, but hate to have something lit with the kids and animals around.  These are a perfect alternative.  Interested?  Check out my website and make an order!  You won't regret it I promise!  If you have any questions feel free to leave me a comment.

P.S.  I promise I won't ever use my blog as an advertisement again!  :)

Happy Easter!

Grandma and Grandpa Geiger went shopping for the girls for Easter outfits.  They LOVED them!  They wanted to wear them "all day and all night!"  LOL  Enjoy!
