Griffens

I'm not sure where my kids have ever even heard the term "Griffen", or if they even know what one is.  Regardless, the girls found Griffen's at our campground and they trained them and rode them all week.  ;)

Marissa's Griffen

Madalyn's Griffen

They also fought a few animals along their travels using their home made bow and arrows!

They did a pretty good job!

Love, love , love their imaginations !!!!! And, it's not g-r-i-f-f-i-n, it's griffon -a vulture of the genus Gyps, especially G. fulvus, of southern Europe :)

No, actually, there is a griffin.....a fabled monster, usually having the head and wings of an eagle and the body of a lion.
Shall we stick with "o-n" ?
